  • Every eligible research article is normally reviewed by at least two independent subject experts.
  • Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, academic quality, ethical compliance, findings and contribution to knowledge.
  • The final decision to accept, revise or reject a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief or an authorised editor.
  • Publication charges, institutional affiliation, nationality, position or personal relationships do not influence peer-review or editorial decisions.
